The Macie Jo Foundation began as a promise to turn heartbreak into hope — to honor the fight of a little warrior named Macie by preventing other families from experiencing the devastating impact of hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Born from the determination of her parents and the love of a community, our foundation is dedicated to advancing awareness, prevention, and research to protect the most fragile moments of life — the moment a baby takes their first breath.
